Our project has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Project Manager to help manage global expansion of Azure data centers. The right candidate will be a self-starter with experience working on MSFT Azure.
Excellent communication skills and excellent stakeholder management skills are critical to this role.
Project Requirements:
- Familiarity with MS Project Management tools, Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), plus experience working with Teams and Sharepoint
- Experience working with Azure cloud resources/services.
Other Requirements:
- PMP or CAPM + 3 years of relevant experience
- Azure DevOps Boards (ADO Boards) experience, >2 year
- Superior coordination abilities, with a track record for handling cross-team communication and managing complex projects.
- Professionalism, accountability, and excellent client-facing communication skills
Preferred
- Kusto (KQL) and PowerBI (PBI) experience
General Duties:
- Working directly with the client on project planning; serving as an escalation point for project resources to quickly resolve problems.
- Owning and updating the project planning in ADO
- Milestone planning and agreeing with the team on ETA’s; prioritizing tasks based on the plan
- Accurately capturing milestone dependencies
- Monitoring and controlling project performance; maintaining governance and ensuring team discipline; keeping project on track to meet all deadlines
- Responsible for all project communications and overseeing governance of project team processes
- Send weekly project reports and prepare periodic (monthly and quarterly) presentations on project status
- Perform risk management, change management, documentation management, stakeholder management, and schedule management
